It is also awarded special development of the company called Lifelink, used for water supply, suitable for use in developing countries.
In addition to this development fifteen more initiators have been awarded in the framework of the program of Organization “Momentum for change”. For the first time talking about Grundfos, as about innovation Company, was at Paris conference – an event which gathers the most modern technologies and developers from around the world, offering revolutionary ideas for solving of global problems.
Grundfos has received one of 6 awards in the category for introduction of reliable water supply system in countries such as Kenya and Uganda. At the moment, the Company is increasing proportion of development of water supply systems with use of alternative energy. Besides, such programs are being implemented in India: AQtap — fee system for water supply, thanks to which it is possible to calculate amount and cost of entering resource. The second program — AQapure — introduced for cleaning reservoir surface to suitable condition of use in food.
According to Concern President, new award — is a proof that today’s world needs reliable and long-term solutions, differed by steadiness and aimed at improving of quality of life of people in developing countries.
UN defines direction of Grundfos, as one of four priorities in the program “Momentum for change”. The representative of Organization pointed out that they have the highest potential, scale and practicality for solution of global problems of climate, it is an example of how some people can be useful to others. Only 450 representatives fought for the award, 16 winners were present at presentation, including Grundfos Company.
